FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
& PROGRAM POLICIES
What’s the Author Studio, exactly?
The Author Studio is Social Rocketship’s flagship done-for-you book publishing program.
We work directly with experts, coaches, consultants, creators, founders, and more to draft, edit, and publish a professional nonfiction book in under 60 days. We handle the heavy lifting on structure, drafting, editing, formatting, cover design, and publishing.
They go from the expert they already are to a fully published author with their own authoritative nonfiction book. If your friend wants the full picture, send them to SocialRocketship.com/Studio.
How much does it cost to refer a friend?
The Social Rocketship referral program is 100% free to join. There’s NEVER any charge to you. Additionally, there are NO minimum monthly or annual referral requirements.
Will they know you referred them?
Yes. When we send them their copy of Booked, we’ll let them know it came from you. No mystery, no awkward reveals.
How do I qualify for my referral bonus?
Once your referral completes their Author Studio payment in full, your commission is then processed. We’ll reach out to confirm the details and get you paid (generally via Stripe or PayPal).
We will send you payment on the 1st day of the month after the full 30 days has completed. Example: If your referral pays in full on May 23, then you will receive your bonus on July 1st.
What if they start but don’t complete their payment?
Commissions are tied to completed payments. If your referral enrolls but doesn’t pay in full, the commission doesn’t trigger. Partial payments don’t count.
Does this work outside the USA?
Not at this time. For now, the referral program is reserved for businesses and referring partners (you) inside the United States.
How many people can I refer?
There’s no limit! Every expert in your network who needs a book is should be on your radar. Let them know about Author Studio. Refer as many as you want!
Can Social Rocketship revoke my ability to send referrals?
Yes. Social Rocketship reserves the right to revoke your ability to send referrals to us. We also reserve the right to approve or disapprove any referral. If we suspect there is any misrepresentation or dishonest behavior in any way, we will revoke your ability to send referrals and you will not be paid.
Furthermore, by participating in the referral program, you consent to indemnify, defend, and protect Social Rocketship and its officers, directors, employees, consultants, affiliates, or anyone associated with Social Rocketship from and against any and all taxes, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including legal fees and other legal expenses, resulting directly or indirectly from: (a) your noncompliance with these Terms or any applicable laws, rules, and regulations during your participation in the referral program, (b) your infringement or alleged infringement of a third party’s rights as a result of your involvement in the referral program, or (c) any negligence or intentional wrongdoing resulting from your involvement in Social Rocketship’s referral program.
